The Most Important Election of...

Yes, it's that time again. Election season is in full bloom, with all the hyperbole, pomp, and circumstance anyone could expect as we gather our collective minds to elect representatives who will serve us.

I’m not here to promote any particular candidate running in 2024. Trying to convince you one way or the other would be both futile and condescending. Instead, I’ll ask you to think about your future and the future of this country.

  • Do you believe the President, their administration, and Congress are addressing the needs and concerns of the people of the United States of America?

  • Are you concerned about your right to self-governance?

  • Is your community being well-served by your current mayor, city council, and school board, or could new candidates fulfill those roles better?

  • Are the propositions, referendums, and measures on your local and state ballots truly aimed at addressing the present and future needs of your community?

  • Are you worried about taxes and their impact on your family's financial stability, the health of your local economy, and whether your representatives are using those funds wisely?

These are just a few of the criteria I use to navigate the vast amount of information available before casting my vote in the November general election.

I can’t tell you who to vote for, and I can’t predict the future. But I can encourage you to actively work to preserve the principles set forth in the documents that founded this great nation. Heed the warnings of those who drafted those documents, and use them as guidelines to keep our country strong, and our citizens prosperous, enjoying the freedom and liberty that allow us to govern ourselves. It is this autonomy that attracts people from all over the world, who wish to make this country their home.

Below, you'll find a couple of links I've provided to help you better understand what this country stands for, and why we need to uphold these foundational documents to remain the most independent and diverse nation on the planet.

November 5th is the day to elect our representatives.

God Bless America
